QCE21 Hubb is Live \u2014 Onboard Now<\/h3>\n

The QCE21 Hubb Digital Platform is now live<\/b> for all registered participants. If you are registered, you should have received a note <\/span>ieee-quantum-week@computer.org<\/span><\/a> on how to login and onboard to QCE21 Hubb. If you are not yet registered, you can register here<\/a>. Onboard now so that you are familiar with QCE21 Hubb and ready to enjoy IEEE Quantum Week 2021. <\/b>Complete your profile <\/b>(e.g., photo, biography), explore the website, find the session explorer<\/b>, add sessions to your calendar<\/b>, explore the filters <\/b>in the explore (e.g., day, session type, tracks). Check out the Relax in Colorado Track and Exercise Track — already live for you<\/b>.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

QCE21 is 100% digital. <\/b>The <\/span>2nd IEEE International Conference on Quantum Computing and Engineering<\/b> is a 100% virtual event held during the week of October 17-22, 2021 using the<\/span> QCE21 Hubb Digital Platform<\/b>. For the past two years, we were hoping to hold IEEE Quantum Week in Broomfield, Colorado. We hope it will finally happen next year in the week of September 18-23, 2022. The QCE21 program includes several references <\/span>to Colorado,<\/span> including videos to relax, to get you all excited to visit beautiful Colorado next fall. <\/span><\/p>\n

QCE21 Program in Mountain Time. <\/b>Like last year, all times in the program are in Colorado time, Mountain Time Zone, or UTC-6<\/b>. <\/span>QCE21 begins on Sunday, October 17 with three tutorials and two workshops. All other days (Mon-Fri), feature ten parallel tracks per day with a total of over 320+ hours of exciting programming on <\/span>quantum computing and engineering. Each weekday starts and ends with a keynote presentation. In between these bookends, all the other sessions are scheduled at fixed intervals for ease of transitioning and memorizing session start times. <\/span>Note the Sunday, Oct 17 tutorials and workshops are scheduled for different time slots.<\/span><\/p>\n

QCE21 Hubb onboarding and Zoom rooms. <\/b>Since October 6, registered QCE21 attendees have been<\/span> invited <\/b>to onboard to QCE21 Hubb Digital Platform<\/b>. Once you are logged into Hub, the front page features a video on how to set up your profile, explore sessions, and participate in QCE21 sessions<\/b>. <\/span>This is the same platform we used last year and, thus, should be familier to many of you. <\/span>The Hubb platform is used to explore and find the sessions<\/b> as well as connect to Zoom presentation rooms to engage in live events. IEEE Computer Society provides a Zoom room for each room listed in the program. The room names are the same as last year and named after Colorado wildlife<\/b> (e.g., Eagle<\/b> for Keynotes, Moose 1-3<\/b> for Panels, Elk 1-5<\/b> for Workshops<\/b>, Bear 1-5<\/b> for Tutorials<\/b>, Bighorn<\/b> 1-2 for Technical Papers,<\/b> Bison<\/b> for Posters<\/b>, and Hawk<\/b> for BoFs<\/b>). The Exhibits<\/b> are also held in Zoom rooms. Each Exhibitor is allocated a dedicated Zoom room that is named after the sponsor for the duration of the conference. Moreover, the QCE21 program features 1-2 time slots for each company to showcase their quantum technologies and job opportunities.<\/b> Also Check out the <\/span>Colorado, <\/span>Exercise, <\/b>and <\/span>Networking<\/b> tracks. QCE21 On-Demand Access to Zoom Recordings. <\/b><\/span>Each session at QCE21 with a few exceptions, is being recorded as a Zoom recording. A few hours upon completion of the live session, its recording will become available for on-demand viewing. While it is impossible to digest ten high-qualty quantum computing and engineering tracks in a day, you will have the opportunity to explore every recorded session over two months at your leisure until the end of the year. QCE21 provides an incredible wealth of quantum information you can explore at your leisue  and build a solid foundation for your career and continuing education.<\/span><\/p>\n
