class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-47a965f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"47a965f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>IEEE Quantum Week 2020 was a tremendous success. Over 800 people from 45 countries and 225 companies attended the inaugural IEEE International Conference on Quantum Computing and Engineering (QCE20).<\/p>\n<p>QCE20 featured 270+ hours of programming&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">in a first-class program<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">&nbsp;on quantum computing and engineering over five days and in nine parallel tracks including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<li>10 world-class keynote speakers<\/li>\n<li>32 inspiring exhibit rooms<\/li>\n<li>16 workforce-building tutorials<\/li>\n<li>21 community-building workshops<\/li>\n<li>49 technical paper presentations<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;7 stimulating panels<\/li>\n<li>30 innovative posters<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;&nbsp;7 thought-provoking Birds-of-a-Feather sessions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<br>Hosting virtual exhibits is a challenging proposition. With the heroic efforts by IEEE Computer Society staff, we delivered a terrific <em>virtual experience<\/em> for exhibitors as well as attendees. The sponsoring companies contributed at all levels and&nbsp; engaged&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">deeply<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The journey to the inaugural IEEE Quantum Week began in May 2019. The response by the international quantum community to our calls for contributions and participation was way beyond what we expected at the start of this project.
